Minister Jitendra Singh launched Special Campaign 3.0 to deal with adjournments in government office.

Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State for Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) inaugurated Special Campaign 3.0 on 14 September 2023 at the National Media Center in New Delhi.

The objective of this campaign is to remove and reduce the backlog of pending works in government offices. Special Campaign 3.0 will be conducted in two phases: a preparatory phase from September 15 to September 30, 2023, and a critical phase from October 2 to October 31, 2023. During the preparatory phase, nodal officers of various divisions, subordinate/attached offices. , Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), autonomous bodies, and authorities under the administrative purview of the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances have been tasked with identifying pending work as per DARPG guidelines.

The department and its affiliated offices have already issued a PIB note and more than 100 tweets in the preparation phase through various social media platforms including Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Ko, Facebook, Threads, Public App and others. have done Secretary (DA&FW) along with Additional Secretary and Joint Secretary inspected various floors of Krishi Bhavan to assess the cleanliness of the building.

As part of the preparatory phase, a team comprising Nodal Officers and other officers/officials of the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances visited the record room of the department. He discovered that out of 23,343 files in the record room, 8,130 old files needed to be reviewed.

To facilitate the preparatory phase, three video conferencing meetings were held with the nodal officer of the department, chaired by the Joint Secretary, with the nodal officers of various divisions, attached and subordinate offices. During these meetings, the nodal officers were urged to review site cleanliness, space management, scrap and waste disposal, MPs, state governments, inter-ministerial references, parliamentary assurances, PMO references. Provide specific targets related to public complaints. and appeals, and records management.

During the preparation phase, which lasted from September 15 to September 30, 2023, the following parameters/objectives were identified for Special Campaign 3.0 for DA&FW divisions and its subordinate/attached offices, PSUs, autonomous bodies, and authorities. Done:

The main phase of Special Campaign 3.0 is scheduled to begin on October 2, 2023. During this phase, intensive and dedicated efforts will be made by all divisions, field offices and outstation offices under the administration to achieve the targets set during the preparatory phase.
