Prime Minister Modi on Sunday inaugurated various development initiatives in Telangana with a total cost of over Rs 13,500 crore.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to unveil projects worth over Rs 8,000 crore in Telangana on Monday, ahead of state elections later this year. These initiatives cover many sectors including railways and thermal power plants.
In line with the Prime Minister’s vision to increase power generation and energy efficiency, the event will mark the groundbreaking of the 800 MW Phase 1 of the Telangana Super Thermal Power Project, which will provide cost-effective electricity and environmental standards. will promote economic development while maintaining

PM Modi earlier launched massive development projects worth over Rs 13,500 crore in Telangana, including road infrastructure, railways, petroleum, higher education, and more. He inaugurated major railway projects, including a new rail line connecting Manoharabad and Sadipet, electrification projects, and a new train service, promoting socio-economic development and environment-friendly rail transport.
Additionally, Modi will dedicate NMDC’s steel plant at Nagarnar in Chhattisgarh’s Bastar district to the nation on Monday. He will also lay foundation stones and inaugurate several rail projects in the state.
