The Annual General Meeting of the Indian Vegetable Oil Producers Association (IVPA) was held on 22 September 2023 in New Delhi where members gathered to discuss important developments and outline the future course of action of the association.
The Indian Vegetable Oil Producers Association has unanimously re-elected Chief Executive Officer of Emami Agrotech Ltd. Sudhakar Rao Desai as the President at the association’s 46th Annual General Meeting, while Amarinder Mishra, Managing Director of ADM India and VK Jain, The Vice President of Patanjali Foods has been elected as the Vice President of IVPA.

IVPA elects its officers for the 2023-24 term:
During its 46th Annual General Body Meeting, the Association elected its officers for the term 2023-24. The respected leadership team is comprised of industry veterans who bring a wealth of experience and expertise to lead the association.
IVPA President Sudhakar Rao Desai re-elected:
Mr. Sudhakar Rao Desai, CEO of Emami Agrotech Ltd. has been unanimously re-elected as the President of IVPA. Mr. Desai’s extensive industry knowledge and leadership have been instrumental in shaping IVPA’s direction. He is a member of the Organizing Committee of Globoil and a member of the Product Committee of Commodity Exchange in India. Mr. Desai has also held the position of Director at the Bombay Commodity Exchange and has an impressive track record. Earlier he worked at Agrotech Foods Ltd (ConAgra, USA) and was the founder director of Bunge India.
New Vice Presidents of IVPA elected:
Joining the leadership team as IVPA Vice Presidents are Mr. Amarinder Mishra, Managing Director ADM India, and Mr. VK Jain, Vice President Patanjali Foods. Mr. Mishra brings with him over a decade and a half of work experience and has been associated with various industry committees, while Mr. Jain has over four decades of experience in the oil and oilseeds sector. has worked with now known as Patanjali Foods Limited. And also serving in some other committees of the industry association.

The newly elected office bearers thanked all the Executive Committee members for their unwavering support and trust. He also thanked the members of IVPA for once again entrusting the service to the association.
