CII Agrinnovate Conference on Technology Adoption for Sustainable Agriculture, promoting dialogue, knowledge sharing and collaboration around the integration of technology in advancing sustainable agricultural practices.

Organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Northern Region, the conference was held on 6 October 2023 at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, and aimed to bring together experts, policy makers, stakeholders, and innovators to The possibilities of technology can be explored. Effective solutions to address challenges and opportunities in agriculture while promoting agricultural sustainability.

Dr. PK Singh, Commissioner of Agriculture, Government of India emphasized that technology adoption requires integration and said that planet, people and profit are the basis of any technological progress and sustainability.

The CII Agrinnovate conference witnessed a number of discussions including emphasizing the importance of advanced technologies in crop protection, the role of seed technology in maximizing crop productivity and resilience and exploring the concept of climate smart agriculture, an integrated approach that seeks to increase productivity. and environmental sustainability in the context of climate uncertainty.
