We have shared our garden before. (Sustainable Gardening in LA)And now we would like to share some photos of white flowers in our yard.
Grandma planted this sweet alyssum (Lobularia maritima, per annum) as ground cover. Here’s what it looked like in 2009.
Burgundy berries (Province Salicina, zones 5-8) flowers
Almonds (Prunus dulcis, Zones 7-9) flowers
We put it enough (enough, zones 10-11) planted in December 2019, and it gave us flowers in July 2022. Beautiful scent! Now we are waiting for the bean to brew to make our first cup of coffee!
Flower buds of Chinese chives (Allium tuberosum, Zones 3-9) Make a great dish.
one Epiphyllum (Zones 10-11 or as a houseplant) The flower lasts only one night, but has a strong, pleasant scent. Vietnamese traditionally like to drink tea and sing or write poems while watching the flowers bloom.
This epiphyllum has smaller petals but smells similar to the one above.
Sometimes we had 12 blooms in one night.
