Applicants should set up a livestock farm costing Rs 1.5 lakh for 10 animals to avail the loan. This scheme empowers unemployed youth to start their own dairy farming.

The scheme provides bank loans to unemployed youth to start dairy farms and businesses. Eligibility for UP Gopalak Yojana 2023

  1. Applicants must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.

  2. Cattle breeders must have at least five animals, and these animals must be able to produce milk. Those who have fewer animals will not be eligible for this scheme.

  3. The annual income of the applicant should not exceed Rs.1 lakh.

  4. Animals for Gopalak Yojana will be purchased from cattle fairs, and the animals purchased should be healthy.

How to Apply for UP Gopalak Yojana 2023?

  1. Applicants should visit their nearest Veterinary Officer to obtain the application form.

  2. After receiving the application form, applicants have to fill all the required information.

  3. Once all the information is filled, applicants should attach their documents with the application form.

  4. After that, the application form should be submitted to the veterinary officer.

  5. The application form will then be sent to the district level “Pishu Chikatsa Adhikari” (Veterinary Officer) for further processing.

  1. A selection committee, including Chief Development Officer (CDO), Chief Veterinary Officer (CVO), and Nodal Officer, will review the application.

  2. After review by the committee, the applicant can avail the scheme if selected.
