The one-day National Conference on Agriculture for Rabi aims to provide a platform for stakeholders to exchange ideas, share insights and move forward for Indian agriculture especially during the crucial Rabi season.
The Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare is preparing to host a one-day National Conference on Agriculture for Rabi Campaign on September 26, 2023 in New Delhi. The important event will be chaired by the Secretary Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, which will bring together stakeholders from various Ministries, States, Union Territories, organizations and subject matter experts.
The conference will feature keynote addresses by leading agricultural economists and experts, in which Dr. Ashok Gulati will shed light on the transformation of the food system perspective from a production-based perspective. Additionally, Dr. Harish Damodaran will discuss the evolution from Green Revolution 1.0 to Green Revolution 2.0.
