ICAR invites applications for various vacancies, Legal Adviser, Comptroller, Chief Finance and Accounts Officers, Director.

Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) invites applications for the posts of Legal Adviser and Assistant Legal Adviser on deputation basis (including short term contract) at its headquarters and institutes.

ICAR: Number of openings

The organization is looking for a Legal Counsel and an Assistant Legal Counsel. There are 12 vacancies for Comptroller. There are 16 vacancies for Chief Finance and Accounts Officers and 3 for Director (Official Language).

Eligibility for legal counsel

Candidates applying for Statutory Cadre/Departments of Central or State Government or Union Territories or Autonomous Bodies or Public Sector Undertakings:

(i) holding similar posts on a permanent basis in the parent cadre/department; or with five years of service in Level-12 of Pay Matrix (Pre-revised PB-3, Rs. 15600-39100 with GP Rs. 7600) or equivalent pay scale on permanent basis;

Bachelor’s degree in law and at least fourteen years of experience in handling legal affairs.

Eligibility for legal counsel

Candidates applying for Statutory Cadre/Departments of Central or State Government or Union Territories or Autonomous Bodies or Public Sector Undertakings:

(i) holding similar posts on a permanent basis in the parent cadre/department; or (ii) with five years of service in Level-11 of the pay matrix (pre-revised PB-3, Rs. 15600-39100 with GP Rs. 6600) or its equivalent pay scale on permanent basis in the parent cadre/department. ;

Bachelor’s degree in law and at least fourteen years of experience in handling legal affairs.

Eligibility for Comptroller

Officers with 14 years experience in Audit/Finance/Accounts under Central or State Government or Union Territories or Autonomous Bodies or Public Sector Undertakings:

(i) holding similar posts on a permanent basis in the parent cadre/department; or (ii) with five years regular service in Pay Level-12 (Pre-revised PB-3, Rs. 15600-39100 with GP Rs. 7600) or equivalent scale of pay on permanent basis in the parent cadre/department.

Qualification Chief Finance and Accounts Officer

Officers with 10 years experience in Audit/Finance/Accounts under Central or State Government or Union Territories or Autonomous Bodies or Public Sector Undertakings:

And

i) Holding similar posts on a permanent basis in the parent cadre/department

or

ii) With five years regular service in Pay Level-11 (pre-revised PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 with GP Rs.6600) or its equivalent pay scale in the parent cadre/department.
